the hairs won't split!

why the temple?

 

We were married in the Salt Lake City Temple. As it has been throughout history, the temple is literally the "house of the Lord" (1 Kings 6:1, 37.) The main purpose of temples is to provide a place where special ordinances can be done. 

 

We are so excited that are married not only until "death do us part," but for "time and all eternity." Jesus Christ gave power to His disciples to seal families together forever (Matt 16:19.)

 

That power was lost for centuries, but is now on the earth today. God called a prophet named Joseph Smith to restore His church. We have both prayed and believe this to be true with all our hearts. 

 

This ceremony, only performed in an LDS temple, allowed us that opportunity to be married even after death. We are so happy we get to be with each other forever!
