We found our Store!

So Spence and I have been wanting to start our own tie business for a while now. We both love sewing and the business idea of it. We’ve been spastically window shopping through different fabric stores to find a good one, most of them were space or SUPER pricy. Lame. So today we had on the list to go to 5 different places. The first two were in Chinatown (yuck-when we got off the subway there it was right under a fish market and smelled GROSS! I hate fish and fishy smells!) We had no luck there and then ventured off to our 3rd place, Mood Fabrics. Apparently it’s the place they use in Project Runway - I had never known that - but oh boy, when we walked in…..it was like the hallelujah chorus! It was the most beautiful thing I’ve ever seen ha! Fabric everywhere! And really really good looking fabric! We were so happy we made this video!

Also, I have to include in this video from Trader Joes. This is what happens when your store is 3 stories tall but only 10ft by 10ft wide. New York is crazy!!
